If entering an areas such as Japan, you should really have a pancake style\u00a0<strong>alpha, beta, and gamma sensitive tube<\/strong>\u00a0before going into a contaminated area.<\/em>&#8221; \u00a0Most people reading this would likely only be doing readings in Canada or the United States, but we thought we would mention this for anyone considering on getting a meter for more then basic recently posted a meter that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.safecast.org\/2013\/03\/the-bgeigie-nano-kit\/\">they have been working on for several years<\/a>\u00a0called the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/blog.safecast.org\/2017\/06\/new-safecast-kickstarter-campaign-launched\/\"><strong>&#8220;<\/strong><\/a><em><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.safecast.org\/2017\/06\/new-safecast-kickstarter-campaign-launched\/\"><strong><em>bGeigie Raku<\/em>&#8220;<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>that can send GPS data and can be mounted on cars for mobile readings. \u00a0It has been\u00a0used for\u00a0testing in Vancouver (see below). \u00a0Older Safecast Nano versions are\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/shop.kithub.cc\/products\/safecast-bgeigie-nano\">available<\/a><\/strong>, but the official Raku version is on\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.safecast.org\/2017\/06\/new-safecast-kickstarter-campaign-launched\/\">Kickstart<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/realtime.safecast.org\/sensors\/100161\/\"><img
