Many are considering purchasing a portable power bank station<\/strong> incase of a blackout or for out door activities, such as camping to enjoy the fresh air and get away from the city and wireless smog. \u00a0 However many of these devices have wireless built into the new models. \u00a0Once they are powered up, the “Monitor and Control – Smart App” using WIFI and Bluetooth start searching for a cellular phone. \u00a0 In some brands they have these controls using wireless. \u00a0Many EHS people may not have a phone handy to turn these wireless functions off, (that is if these Apps actually do turn the wireless off)<\/span><\/p>\n

Some of our research people have reported back to us with their findings. \u00a0 One model had wireless that would not turn off, even with help from the manufacturer, it would not turn off. \u00a0 So beware of this if people with EHS will be near these devices.<\/span><\/p>\n

On a positive note, two of the handful of popular brands do claim that the WIFI and Bluetooth will indeed turn entirely Off if needed by holding certain buttons. \u00a0 If you know of brands not mentioned here that features a\u00a0fully controllable wireless On and Off switch<\/span>, \u00a0please share in the comments. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Customer<\/b> : “So strong I couldn’t stand it, Had it on less then one minute and felt the strong microwave signals. \u00a0 Turning it off was difficult, there was a ‘sleep mode’ that only turns Off the screen, but the wireless was still functioning according to a RF Detector. \u00a0Once the system is actually Off the WIFI and Bluetooth did stop, but if you want to run it, wireless is clearly on at all times. \u00a0Highly suggest people research before buying these systems.”<\/span><\/p>\n
