A second, separate transmitter\u00a0that operates in the 2.4 GHz frequency range (2405\u00a0MHz to 2483 MHz) uses direct sequence spread\u00a0spectrum technology that is referred to as a <strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Zigbee radio<\/span><\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">This <strong>Second transmitter<\/strong> is included for use with\u00a0Home Area Networks (HANs) allowing customers, for\u00a0example, to control certain electric appliances or systems\u00a0within the home.
