Turning Off WIFI \u00a0– \u00a0PC \/ Windows Computer<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – Search for “DEVICE MANAGER”<\/p>\n

2 – Look for “WIFI ADAPTOR” or similar and select that to view the settings<\/p>\n

3 – Look for “Disable Device<\/strong>“, select Disable, then press OK<\/p>\n

Turning Off WIFI \u00a0– \u00a0ROUTER \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – Read the ID Number on the back of your Router<\/p>\n

2 – Type the ID Number into the URL Bar on your WEB Browser \u00a0i.e. <\/span><\/span>\u00a0http:\/\/192.168.1.1<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

3 – User Name and Password \u00a0( If factory settings, often “Admin” and no password )<\/p>\n

4 – A menu should appear with the information from the Router Manufacturer<\/p>\n

5 – Select “Disable WIFI” or “Turn Off WIFI”<\/p>\n

Turning Off WIFI –\u00a0APPLE Computers<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – Apple Menu ( Top Left ) and choose “System Preferences”<\/p>\n

2 – Select “NETWORK”<\/p>\n

3 – Check to see if WIFI is OFF, if it is On, \u00a0Select “Turn WIFI OFF”<\/strong><\/p>\n

Turning Off BLUETOOTH – APPLE Computers<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – Apple Menu ( Top Left ) and choose System Preferences<\/p>\n

2 – Select “NETWORK” \u00a0OR \u00a0BlueTooth<\/p>\n

3 – Check to see if BlueTooth is OFF, \u00a0if it is On,\u00a0\u00a0Select OFF<\/strong><\/p>\n

Turning Off WIFI –\u00a0APPLE iPAD<\/strong><\/p>\n

1 – Home -> SETTINGS<\/p>\n

2 – Select “GENERAL<\/strong>” settings<\/p>\n

3 – \u00a0Choose “Network<\/b>” preferences on the right, and then select “Wi-Fi<\/b>“. (Note that you can also access this same screen by tapping on “Wi-Fi<\/b>” at the very top of the left column, how you get to that screen makes no difference.)<\/p>\n

4 – The first option displayed is labeled “Wi-Fi<\/b>“, and includes an On\/Off switch<\/strong>. The text on the switch indicates the\u00a0current<\/i>\u00a0wireless state, not the one you’ll end up with by pushing the switch. In other words, if the switch is blue and reads “On<\/b>“, it means that WiFi is currently running. In that case, tap on the switch, and you have turned Off WiFi on your iPad.<\/p>\n

Turning Off WIFI –\u00a0XBOX 360<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are two models of the 360, the earlier one can have the Antenna disconnected, and wired controllers will still function.<\/p>\n
