Exposure of\u00a0pregnant women<\/strong>\u00a0to non-ionizing radiation emitted by\u00a0electromagnetic fields<\/strong>\u00a0generated by cell phones, tablets and\u00a0Wi-Fi<\/strong>\u00a0connections produce an increased\u00a0risk of abortion<\/strong>\u00a0by 270%.\u00a0This was revealed by a study conducted in California on\u00a0913<\/strong>\u00a0pregnant\u00a0women<\/strong>\u00a0whose results were\u00a0published in Scientific Reports<\/a>\u00a0by the prestigious\u00a0Nature<\/strong>\u00a0editorial group.\u00a0Non-ionizing radiation has been included by Iarc, the UN agency for cancer research, in the list of\u00a0possible carcinogens<\/strong>\u00a0and propagated through the electromagnetic fields that “light up” when using electrical appliances and Wi-Fi networks.<\/p>\n

10% have suffered an abortion<\/h2>\n

The study was carried out at\u00a0Kaiser Permanente Northern California<\/strong>\u00a0, funded by the National Institute of Environmental Health Science and involved 913 pregnant women: each one wore a device capable of\u00a0monitoring exposure<\/strong>\u00a0to a magnetic field for 24 hours.\u00a010.4%<\/strong>\u00a0of the women involved in the study presented an\u00a0abortion<\/strong>\u00a0and the authors concluded that women exposed to high levels of non-ionizing radiation have a nearly three times higher risk of abortion than women exposed to lower levels.<\/p>\n

The California guidelines<\/h2>\n

In\u00a0recent days, the State of California<\/a>\u00a0has officially published the\u00a0guidelines<\/strong>\u00a0on the use of mobile phones.And these are probably noise-bound advice, as they warn that consulted studies\u00a0link radiation<\/strong>\u00a0from\u00a0the<\/strong>use of mobile phones to a long-term increase in\u00a0brain cancer<\/strong>\u00a0risk,\u00a0fewer sperms<\/strong>\u00a0and other problems with health.\u00a0The warning from the Californian authorities becomes even more pressing towards the developing bodies of the children, most at risk.<\/p>\n
