Frank<\/a><\/p>\n<p>In February 2018 Brig. Gen. Robert S. Spalding III assumed the duties of Special Assistant to the U.S. Air Force Vice Chief of Staff.\u00a0 Putting it mildly \u2013 it didn\u2019t work out, which led to General Spalding being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2019\/04\/the-new-yorker-interviews-former-natl-security-director-on-how-5g-is-terrifying-cybersecurity-previously-unthinkable-surveillance-potential-and-health.html\">interviewed by <em>The New Yorker<\/em><\/a> for an article titled, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newyorker.com\/news\/annals-of-communications\/the-terrifying-potential-of-the-5g-network\">\u201cThe Terrifying Potential of 5G.\u201d<\/a>\u00a0The article referenced concerns about health risks from 5G exposure (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.blumenthal.senate.gov\/newsroom\/press\/release\/at-senate-commerce-hearing-blumenthal-raises-concerns-on-5g-wireless-technologys-potential-health-risks\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ehtrust.org\/scientific-research-on-5g-and-health\/\">2<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/ieee-warns-about-5g-bluetooth-cell-phone-and-wifi-radiation-exposure.html\">3<\/a>).\u00a0 However, it primarily focused on grave cybersecurity risks and how increased surveillance from the technology could drastically affect the American way-of-life:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<h5>A system built on millions of cell relays, antennas, and sensors also offers previously unthinkable surveillance potential. Telecom companies already sell location data to marketers, and law enforcement has used similar data to track protesters. 5G will catalogue exactly where someone has come from, where they are going, and what they are doing.<\/h5>\n<h5>Paired with facial recognition and artificial intelligence, the data streams and location capabilities of 5G will make anonymity a historical artifact.<\/h5>\n<h5>In China, which has installed three hundred and fifty thousand 5G relays\u2014about ten times more than the United States\u2014enhanced geolocation, coupled with an expansive network of surveillance cameras, each equipped with facial-recognition technology, has enabled authorities to track and subordinate the country\u2019s eleven million Uighur Muslims. According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2019\/04\/14\/technology\/china-surveillance-artificial-intelligence-racial-profiling.html\">Times<\/a>, <strong>\u201cthe practice makes China a pioneer in applying next-generation technology to watch its people, potentially ushering in a new era of automated racism.\u201d<\/strong><\/h5>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Automated racism, folks.<\/p>\n<div href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/5g-proponents-warn-about-cyber-attacks-huge-levels-of-vulnerability-and-threats-to-national-security.html\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/whatis5g.info\/cybersecurity-vulnerability\/\">2<\/a>).\u00a0 He has also written a book, <em><a class=\"easyazon-link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/product\/0593084349\/US\/permacultucom-20\/?cart=y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener noreferrer\" data-cart=\"y\" data-cloak=\"y\" data-identifier=\"0593084349\" data-locale=\"US\" data-localize=\"y\" data-popups=\"n\" data-tag=\"permacultucom-20\">Stealth War<\/a><\/em>, which provides more unsettling details and warnings about how American freedoms are also at risk from 5G and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2019\/10\/gartner-predicts-11-2-million-5g-iot-surveillance-cameras-by-2022-and-49-million-units-for-connected-cars-by-2023.html\">Internet of Things (IoT)<\/a> technology. \u00a0Thanks to Patrick Bet-David for providing a forum for him to speak.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is supposed to protect the public by regulating the telecom industry.\u00a0 They have been a \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/ethics.harvard.edu\/files\/center-for-ethics\/files\/capturedagency_alster.pdf\">captured agency\u201d<\/a> since long before the Trump Administration.\u00a0 However, the global \u201cRace to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fcc.gov\/5G\">5G<\/a>\u201d has made them much more ruthless.\u00a0 They are even using the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/5g-rollout-speeds-up-despite-pandemic-govts-banning-it-issuing-moratoriums-lawsuits-warnings-etc.html\">coronavirus as an excuse to speed up deployment<\/a>which also includes launching <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/fcc-approves-spacex-to-launch-up-to-1-million-small-antennas-to-blast-5g-at-earth-despite-dire-warnings.html\">satellites to blast it at us<\/a> from space.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>American and worldwide opposition to 5G has been ongoing.\u00a0 Last December doctors, engineers, scientists, and public advocates <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2019\/12\/doctors-scientists-health-professionals-engineers-and-public-advocates-ask-trump-for-a-5g-moratorium.html\"><strong>asked President Trump for a moratorium<\/strong><\/a><strong>.\u00a0 <\/strong>Cities and countries have taken action including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/01\/cities-towns-councils-and-countries-that-have-taken-action-against-or-banned-5g-is-yours-one-of-them.html\">banning it<\/a> and issuing moratoriums (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/precautionary-principle-prevails-3-year-moratorium-on-5g-and-4g-deployment-in-geneva-switzerland.html\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/countries-that-have-stopped-5g-now-include-new-guinea-and-slovenia.html\">2<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/ehtrust.org\/key-issues\/cell-phoneswireless\/emf-scientist-appeal-advisors-call-moratorium-5g\/\">3<\/a>).\u00a0 Highly regarded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/lawsuit-filed-in-the-netherlands-to-stop-5g.html\">organizations<\/a> (including the U.S. Navy) have also issued warnings and opposition for additional safety issues (see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2019\/11\/international-deal-falls-far-short-of-ensuring-5g-wont-interfere-with-weather-forecasting.html\">1<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2019\/08\/new-questions-arise-about-5g-energy-efficiency-as-experts-report-overheating-of-base-stations-and-phones.html\">2<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/semiengineering.com\/5g-heats-up-base-stations\/\">3<\/a>).\u00a0 A growing number of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.activistpost.com\/2020\/03\/more-u-s-congress-members-confront-fcc-about-5g-safety-and-health-risks-is-yours-one-of-them.html\">Congress members<\/a>are also expressing deep
