This piece is a poor attempt to offer false security to the public by using a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=4a34e16972&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">flawed protocol and skewed data<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It does not appear that CTV has researched or disclosed any conflict of interest with their expert, Mr. Karl Reardon who conducted the testing.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Reardon is\/was:<br \/>\nA former Director and General Manager of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=4e99025c67&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">Motorola<\/a><br \/>\nA current industry consultant (<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=db9549616c&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">Planetworks<\/a> and\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=f56556511e&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">Radiowize<\/a>) with close financial ties to the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=c4653ac668&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">telecommunication industry<\/a><br \/>\nCollecting paycheques from consultation on cell tower installations<br \/>\nAuthor of a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=241e4b5b43&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">celltower guidebook<\/a> for the Municipal Engineers<br \/>\nHolder of seven US and EU patents on wireless and data technology<br \/>\nChief Technology Officer of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=33493d36bd&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">Wireless Image<\/a> whose sole business is the sale of mobile advertising solutions for cellphones..<\/p>\n<p>Why did CTV not bother to conduct a proper \u201cinvestigation\u201d on it\u2019s expert\u2019s conflict of interest before presenting this one-sided, crippled testing to stroke the backs of the wireless industry?<\/p>\n<p>This might only be a quick story for CTV, but this is an important issue to parents for the health of numerous children. To parents who have\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage1.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=c290bad312&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">electrosensitive<\/a> children, this is even a matter of whether the child can attend school or not.<\/p>\n<p>Instead of engaging an engineer who makes his money from the wireless industry, CTV should have interviewed experts who understand the low-level effects of non-ionizing microwave radiation on human cells, such as Dr. Martin Blank, Dr. Leif Salford, Dr. Henry Lai, Dr. Andrew Goldworthy, Dr. Magda Havas, and Dr. Olle Johansson among others.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/emfacts.us2.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=fde0125885d9f7d82a3668e7d&amp;id=976bddf987&amp;e=9cb3c51aff\" target=\"_blank\">CTV: Wi-Fi Danger in Schools<\/a><\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s a shame that CTV \u2013 owned by Bell Canada, used a flawed testing protocol to misinform the public about the \u201clow\u201d level of Wi-Fi radiation, in the name of \u201cinvestigative journalism\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>CTV\u2019s reporter, Jon Woodard, requested to speak to parents about this issue and we provided a contact for him, with whom he had made the arrangement to conduct an interview.
