Canada), who has had a long history of working for and with the telecom industry, gave\u00a0one of the scariest speeches ever,\u00a0basically saying that technology was to be allowed\u00a0 to develop and be used without regulation, without concerns for any ramifications. Technology at all costs, even the health of future generations.\u00a0 This approach and the use of 5G will apply to non-licensed frequencies as well as licensed, which means things like wifi and $$meters and other devices we haven\u2019t heard of could use these untested, unsupervised signals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b><i>\u201cYes, 5G will connect the Internet of Everything. If something can be connected, it will be connected in a 5G world. But with predictions of hundreds of billions of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/emrabc.ca\/?page_id=5228\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">microchip-enable products<\/span><\/a> from pill bottles to plant waterers, you can be sure of only one thing: the biggest IoT has yet to be imagined\u2026.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b><i>Rule number one is that the technology should drive the policy rather than the policy drive the technology.<\/i><\/b><b><i>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/i><\/b><b><i><\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b><i>We will be repeating the proven formula that made the United States the world leader in 4G. It\u2019s a simple formula: Lead the world in spectrum availability, encourage and protect innovation-driving competition,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">and stay out of the way of technological development<\/span>.<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b><i>\u00a0<\/i><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><b><i><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unlike some countries, we do not believe we should spend the next couple of years studying what 5G should be, how it should operate, and how to allocate spectrum, based on those assumptions. Like the examples I gave earlier, the future has a way of inventing itself.\u00a0Turning innovators loose is far preferable to expecting committees and regulators to define the future<\/span><\/i><\/b><b><i>.\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">We won\u2019t wait for the standards to be first developed in the sometimes arduous standards-setting process or in a government-led activity<\/span>.<\/i><\/b><b><i>\u00a0Instead, we will make ample spectrum available and an urban environment tend to bounce around buildings and other obstacles making it difficult to connect to a moving point. This will bring an exponential increase in the number of connections.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8221;\u00a0To meet the preceding requirements, 5G should have the following performance advantages over existing mobile communication technologies:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>100 billion connections<\/li>\n<li>1 ms latency<\/li>\n<li>10 Gbps throughput\u00a0&#8220;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2 itemprop=\"itemReviewed\" itemtype=\"http:\/\/schema.org\/Thing\">Action alert: 5G cellular technology will blanket planetary life with ultra-high microwave frequencies<\/h2>\n<p>(NaturalHealth365) The 5G revolution is rushing toward us and it will bring a whole new era of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalhealth365.com\/microwave-radiation-dect-emf-pollution-1404.html\">harm from ultra-high microwave frequency radiation<\/a>.\u00a0 And those who raise their voices against the danger to our health and our human rights to safety have been the subject of harassment, intimidation and attempts to silence them.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On July 14, the FCC voted to unleash 5G in the United States<\/strong>, approving sweeping Spectrum Frontiers rules to make spectrum bands above 24 GHz available for 5G.\u00a0 Even though\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.naturalhealth365.com\/cell-phone-radiation-brain-cancer-1936.html\">serious health risks are associated with the proliferation of cell phone technology,<\/a>\u00a0the attitude of the FCC seems to be \u2018full speed ahead and damn the torpedoes.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>The July 14 vote was preceded, a month earlier, by a June 20th announcement by FCC chairman Tom Wheeler, in which he enthusiastically heralded the coming rollout of 5g applications and networks as a \u201cgame-changer\u201d and a \u201cnational priority\u201d that will generate \u201ctens of billions of dollars.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2>Warning for humanity: The FCC automatically approves the use of untested frequencies<\/h2>\n<p>The 5G network will use higher frequency bands than previously thought possible \u2013 which are untested frequencies of 24 to 100 GHz or more.\u00a0 Wheeler said that implementing the new frequencies would necessitate new antennas \u2013 intended to aim and amplify the signals \u2013 new infrastructure and a massive deployment of towers throughout the United States.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The FCC is moving quickly to adapt 5G technology<\/strong>. Wheeler said that Verizon and ATT will start 5g trials in 2017, with the first commercial deployments scheduled for 2020. Specifically rejecting the notion of 5G being only for urban use, Wheeler noted that all areas, including rural communities, will be saturated.<\/p>\n<p>In other words:\u00a0<strong>No part of the country will be safe from ultra-high frequency signals<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With obvious relish, Wheeler spoke of \u201cturning innovators loose\u201d to develop and adapt 5G and related networks. And, as for those \u2018annoying regulators\u2019 \u2013 who could presumably stand between us and harm from electromagnetic radiation \u2013 Wheeler rejects the idea that these cautious people should be allowed to define our future.<\/p>\n<h2>Gestapo tactics are being used to silence criticism of 5G technology<\/h2>\n<p>At the July 14th press conference, Bloomberg News reporter Todd Shields had his press credentials confiscated by members of the FCC security force.\u00a0 His offense?\u00a0 He was in the act of speaking with safety advocates concerned about radiation, who wanted to show him a tee shirt symbolizing their concerns.<\/p>\n<p>Shields openly confronted Wheeler during the press conference, relating how his credentials had been seized and asking for comment. Wheeler told Shields he could have his credentials back, but went on, unbelievably, to remind him that everyone who came to the press conference had a duty to \u201cbehave responsibly.\u201d (in other words, follow orders or get out)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who is behaving \u201cresponsibly\u201d here<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 the FCC chair who is shamelessly pushing 5G, or the activists who are trying to hold him accountable?\u00a0 This video (below) says it all \u2013 judge for yourself<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022\u2022<\/p>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>&#8220;5G is unlikely to be deployed in any meaningful capacity in the next decade. The technology, which is supposed to offer connectivity at least 100 times faster\u00a0than what is now available, is at the center of a bitter fight between carriers and telecom equipment makers about how it should work. No resolution is expected until at least 2020, said Bengt Nordstrom, co-founder of Northstream, a telecommunications consulting firm.
