The code enforcers were able to make this determination despite not even venturing inside Speronis\u2019 house.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cThere\u2019s a good chance they just looked at the water bill for that address and realized the city monopoly had been thwarted,\u201d reports the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ajc.com\/news-to-me\/2013\/12\/18\/woman-living-off-the-grid-faces-eviction\/?cxntfid=blogs_news_to_me\">Atlanta Journal-Constitution.<\/a><\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Despite the fact that Speronis\u2019 home looks the same as every other on her street from the outside, because she is not dependent on government, the state is presumably worried about the threat of a good example and is attempting to evict her from her own fully owned property.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">A city code compliance manager told Fox 4 that the eviction notice was issued because the home did not have running water or electricity.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Furthermore, the notice posted to Speronis\u2019 property by city officials cites \u201cinternational property maintenance code\u201d as a justification for the eviction.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The \u2018international property maintenance code\u2019 is a lengthy set of regulations\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/law.resource.org\/pub\/us\/code\/ibr\/icc.ipmc.2012.html\">published by the International Code Council<\/a>\u00a0which, although not law, are \u201cavailable for adoption and use by jurisdictions internationally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">The regulations are another example of how global directives in the spirit of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/esa\/dsd\/agenda21\/\">United Nation\u2019s Agenda 21<\/a>\u00a0are being imposed on Americans outside of the law which eviscerate traditional property rights as defined by constitutional protections.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">Agenda 21 demands that member nations adopt \u201csustainable development\u201d policies that are little more than a disguise for the reintroduction of neo-feudalism and only serve to reduce living standards and quality of life.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">In response to the eviction threat, residents rallied in support of Speronis, filing hundreds of complaints with the city council, while attorney Todd Allen said that the city\u2019s powers of eviction were non-existent.<\/p>\n<p align=\"left\">\u201cCape Coral needs to be afraid of me.
