According to Dr. George Carlo in his book ‘Cell Phones: Invisible Hazards in the Wireless Age,’ the industry-supported scientific study group he headed in the late ’90s addressed this issue. A modification was made to pacemakers that apparently dealt with the problem of EMF interference from microwaves. However, since that time we are now into not only the third generation (3G) but now the 4G and have been given no information as to whether these newer technologies have been modified so as not to interfere with pacemakers. And as Dr. Magda Havas has shown, electrosensitive individuals are affected by microwave frequencies of EMF, with heart arrhythmia being a prominent side-effect.

I have put a lock on my present meter and posted a no-tresspassing notice for Hydro installing smart meters. If Hydro installs smart meters here except at places where it has been prohibited, can Hydro try and charge me extra for meter reading (as it would no longer be necessary to read wireless meters)?

I am in the process of purchasing a house but have concerns re proximity to high tension power lines within 100 meters of the house. It’s recommended that I purchase an EMF A/C Gauss Meter to detect strength of radiation.
Could you please tell me if there is any place in Nanaimo where I can get a hold of, borrow, or purchase a Gauss Meter?
Thank you kindly 🙂
