Burnaby, BC, September 24, 2020–(T-Net) TELUS announced today that it has expanded its 5G network to Maple Ridge, New Westminster, Pitt Meadows, Port Moody and Victoria, BC for both residents and businesses.
By the end of the year, nearly 50 communities will be able to experience the speed and quality of TELUS’ 5G connectivity, as TELUS continues to grow its 5G footprint into 2021 and beyond.
TELUS’ next generation 5G network, which builds on its award-winning, fastest network in the world covering 99 per cent of the Canadian population, will drive innovation in emerging tech sectors, healthcare, agriculture, and more.
“TELUS’ 5G network is built on the backbone of TELUS PureFibre technology, making our 4G LTE network the fastest and most reliable in the world,” said Tony Geheran, Executive Vice-President and Chief Customer Officer at TELUS. “While early 5G will help boost connectivity and wireless speeds like never before, the real promise of 5G is how this revolutionary technology will help businesses innovate and shape the future of the Canadian economy.”
Since 2000, TELUS says it has invested nearly $200 billion in wireless and fibre optic network infrastructure, spectrum and operations to enhance the coverage, speed, and reliability of its networks. TELUS has committed to investing an additional $40 billion over the next three years to support the roll out of its 5G network, including our generational investment in PureFibre, to help connect Canadians across our country’s vast and diverse landscape.
TELUS 5G will also be coming to Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, Burnaby, Surrey, White Rock and Chilliwack by the end of 2020.

Arthur Firstenberg, scientist, author, says that when the satellites are turned on to power the 5G technology, that will begin the end of all life on Earth. His meticulously researched book, The Invisible Rainbow; A History of Electricity and Life is a must read, and it is both intelligently written, and easy to read. The facts he presents about this rogue technology are more than disturbing, they spell a genocidal slow-kill operation which is being ignored at our peril. We do not need 5G and we do need to halt its deployment. The advice he and others give about it constitute an ultimate and indisputable Early Warning System.
